His ancestors were the Nawab of Pataudi princely state.He completed his schooling at Lawrence School, Sanawar and Lockers Park School, Hartfordshire, England. After that, he went to the Winchester College Independent School for Boys in the United Kingdom for college studies.After completing his studies, he worked for an advertisement firm based in Delhi for 2 months.After that, on the advice of his family friend, he worked in some advertisements for the clothing brand “Gwalior Suiting”.But for some reason the project did not grow further and he had to come to Mumbai.From where Saif started his Bollywood career.
